At the core of everything I do is a love for storytelling. I have a passion for filmmaking with an interest in documentary work. My works range from fiction to nonfiction, film to photography to graphic design. A good film or piece of art should be like a Dolly Parton song, deeply personal, and in that, it becomes universal. 

Growing up in the Washington, DC area I have been exposed to many social movements and causes. I have documented some and been a part of many. These experiences have given me a strong understanding of journalistic ethics and editorial judgment. 

I have just returned from three months of traveling and car camping throughout the U.S. where I enjoyed getting to know the country in a whole new way, experiencing the amazing natural scenery and meeting people from different areas. It has broadened my understanding of the country in ways I never would have thought. 

My experiences and knowledge give me a unique perspective that inform the  ways in which I frame a picture or tell a story.
